Friday night, we have a special opportunity to learn about the African Aids crisis. The "Step Into Africa" tour is making a stop at the Moorestown Presbyterian Church. The event features a youth coffeehouse, with a talk given by a man who grew up an Aids orphan in Africa, and who is now studying in the United States. He will share his story and perform traditional African music. Then we will tour the interactive "Aids Experience" display. The event should be fascinating, and help us understand what just might be the major world crisis of our time.I can take 8 of you with me in my van. So, get in touch with me if you want to go! (jsanderson@haddonfieldpres.org, 609-280-9596) If we end up with more than 8, we can work on getting some extra drivers. Let me know ASAP if you want to go!
Also, remember that youth group has finished for the year. However, this Sunday is the all-church picnic at Crow's Woods (11:30-3), and June 20th is the 8th-12th grade lock-in! Don't miss it!
