We are about to enter a very holy week in both the Christian and Jewish calendars. In the gospels, the meal that Jesus celebrated with his disciples (known as the last supper) was the Jewish passover meal. It is a meal still eaten today by Jews and Christians alike, full of symbolism: for Jews, symbols of the exodus from Egypt, and for Christians, symbols of the coming of the messiah, Jesus. Our youth group passover seder will happen this Sunday from 6 - 7:30. If you're a big eater, you might want to have a light dinner beforehand, because the seder itself is slim on food. But, it will be a very cool opportunity to enter into Holy Week in a special way.
Find us in the hospitality room (lowest level, across from fellowship hall). This is an event for all ages and you are welcome to bring friends. Please come ready to take this seriously and try something new.
Until then, Shalom Y'shua (Peace of Christ)!
