Just to let you all know how thankful I am for you, here's a heartfelt little performance for you to enjoy...
Weird, I know...

Holiday Crunch

This picture captures how I always feel this time of year - crunched between all these great holiday celebrations!
The crunching continues this weekend as we celebrate our annual church Advent Festival, just before Thanksgiving!! That's right - we'll pause in the middle of our turkey basting, hang some greens and sing some Carols, and then you can go back to your turkey-day preparations. Here are the details:
All-Church Advent Festival, 5-7pm, Sunday Nov. 22nd, Fellowship Hall, everyone invited! There will be no regular youth group that evening, but youth are needed to help with the "hanging of the greens" in the sanctuary after dinner.
We will be back to regular youth group Nov. 29th
In other news, all of you in grade 8 or older should plan on coming to our 2010 Mission Trip Meeting, following 11:00 worship this Sunday, the 22nd, in the chapel. We'll talk about what plans are in place and how you can sign up. Be there!
See you all soon...

Zoom

What is it? A cartoon mountain? A flower? A crazy hat? To find out, take a gander here, and scroll down...
Thanks to everyone who came out Sunday to get deep with me, as we explored perspective, insignificance, and the amazing story God is writing in all of our lives, using these creative images from Istvan Banyai.
This Sunday, God Squad will meet at the regular time and place for some more good times.
S.O.L.I.D. will meet up in the youth lounge at 6:30, but our evening will be a bit different: we'll be headed down to the fellowship hall to lend a hand to our CE director, who is putting on a special fellowship gathering for families living with special needs. Not sure exactly what we'll be doing, but it should be fun and a great service to the church...
see you all then!
