Regular God Squad and S.O.L.I.D. meetings tonight @ 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. Pizza as usual.
Next Sunday February 28: Mission-centered meeting, regular time.
Sunday March 7--Save the date:
We are planning a trip for both youth groups to the Blue Cross River Rink on the Delaware River in Philadelphia on Sunday, March 7th for an evening of outdoor ice skating before spring arrives (if it ever arrives!) We will leave the church at 5:30pm and will return by 8:00pm. The cost is $5 per person for admission + skates (subsidized by the youth budget), plus any spending money you might want to bring for hot chocolate, etc. Please call Lynn Brandt (856) 795-7971 or Lisa Hurd (856) 429-0622 to RSVP by March 3rd since we need an accurate head count to make sure we have enough drivers, etc. Permission slips will be required and will be available at youth group or in the church office.

Super Sunday Youth Group Super Bowl Party!
On Sunday 2/7, we will join the youth group from Haddonfield United Methodist Church for a Super Bowl Party, starting @ 6 p.m. There will be lots of food and fun, even if you're not a big football fan. You can participate in a Madden 2010 tournament, play air hockey & ping pong, or just hang out with friends. There's no charge to attend, but the youth group is asking for donations of $5, for those who are able, to purchase food for New Visions. Call Lisa Hurd (856) 429-0622 or Lynn Brandt (856) 795-7971 with any questions.
No youth group the following week because of President's Day/school break.

God Squad and S.O.L.I.D. meet Sun. 1/10 @ usual time; MLK Day of Service on Mon. 1/18
Don't miss youth group this Sunday, January 10th! God Squad and S.O.L.I.D. at the regular times - 5-6:30 for middle school and 6:30-8 for high school. Bring your $3 for pizza and look forward to playing the ever popular "Third World Dodge Ball", reflect on 2009, and make goals for 2010. Youth leaders Mia, Matt and Matt are going to continue the tradition of writing letters that will be stored and opened at the beginning of next year.
The following week there won't be youth group on the 17th because the 18th is the annual MLK day of service. Make plans now to show up at the sanctuary at 8am where volunteers will be divided into work groups to go to various service organizations. Then back to church for a full lunch all together. PARENT PARTICIPATION will be welcomed! Please contact Donna Cashman for more details at dce@haddonfieldpres.org.
Becky Bryan needs to know who is interested in the 30 hour famine this year. It is being held at the Moorestown Presby church February 26-27. Please email her at rbryannp@comcast.net if you are interested so she can get a head count - and we will be looking for a parent volunteer to support this event.
Any questions about youth group sans Jeremy? Please email Anne Vial, background adult chaperone for our traditional meetings. Her email is avial4@verizon.net.
